06/10/2010
Monday 27th September saw Queen Margaret's celebrating European Day of Languages, with cooking, quizzes, songs and tongue twisters.

The day started with a procession of European flags followed by a presentation with messages in many languages from pupils and staff in the morning’s assembly. Throughout the day girls were challenged with tongue twisters, songs and quizzes. In Year II girls followed recipes in German and French to cook apple tart and strudel. A competition was launched where participants had to identify as many flags on a world map as they could. The winner of the competition will be announced in Friday's assembly.
