• Many girls achieved merits and distinctions in ABRSM examinations each year

 

• Charlotte Meggitt (LVI) gained one  of the highest marks in the York area this year and took part in a High Scorers concert

 

• Choral music thrives at QM: the Junior  Choir, Chamber Choir and Choral Society perform  regularly in concerts and services both in and out of  school

 

• There is a close association with the Minster School and a number of music scholars in recent years were  former choristers at York Minster

 

• The Chamber Choir sings Evensong in York Minster each year
