On the 6^th October the 1^st netball team had the first round of the National Schools Tournament. Overall QM came first as the York and district champions and are through to the county round. Player of the tournament was Grace Hammond who showed great skill hardly missing a shot. We played six matches, scoring 41 goals in total and only letting in 15, which meant we won four and drew two matches. All in all it was a great team performance and some special mentions go to Natasha Norman in attack, Poppy Ropner as centre and Miranda Wallace in defence. Well played everyone – it was an ‘awesome’ day!
