Cross-Country is a discipline which builds stamina and strength. Girls are encouraged to take an active interest in their fitness levels and there are occasional cross-country runs in the autumn and spring terms.
A popular running club meets once a week for training. There are teams for every age group from U12 to seniors and QM enters teams and individuals for the following competitions:
York and District Athletics Association Cup Competition (U16, U14, U12, Seniors)
Schools Athletics Association County Championships (U17, U15, U13)
