The majority of girls at QM are full boarders, taking advantage of the rich opportunities open to them outside the classroom during evenings and weekends. 

 

Day girls are very welcome at the school. They are encouraged to participate in as many of these activities as they would like to and may join us for breakfast each day and stay for their evening meal by prior arrangement. They will also be allocated a space in a dormitory where they may choose to stay overnight occasionally and can keep belongings, as well as appropriate space for private study.

 

The focal point for all girls is the Year Group common room where they meet up to relax at breaks, lunchtimes and after school. 

 

Housemistresses, Year Heads and tutors work closely together to review girls’ progress and ensure they are happy and settled in all areas of school life.
