Although girls live in 'horizontal' year groups, they are all assigned to one of six 'vertical' Houses: QM Hall, Pitlochry, St Aidan’s, Duncan, Garry and School. These enable different year groups to mix and get to know one another are the focus for inter-House competition in sport, games, music, drama and many other aspects of school life.
House Captains and other prefects, drawn from the Upper Sixth, are supported in their final term by Lower Sixth prefects.
