On Saturday 12^th February fourteen of the eighteen girls who undertook the Bronze level Duke of Edinburgh Award went to Selby Abbey to receive their Award Certificates from the Yorkshire Area Operations Manager, Sue Emmerson. Along with students from a number of other schools, QM girls gathered in the Abbey for an evening of presentations interspersed with musical entertainment from Read School. Alongside the eighteen girls who completed the Bronze Award named in the programme, were listed the eight, now Old Margaretians, who completed the Gold Award, the highest amount of students to complete the Gold Award in the area. A lovely evening was had by all and many thanks go to Carrie Goddard for taking the girls to Selby Abbey to receive their awards.
