MUN conference at Tudor Hall
06/02/2012
QM students take part in model United Nations Conference.

On Friday 4th February, fifteen QM girls (from Year IV, Year V and the Lower VI) travelled to Tudor Hall School in Oxfordshire to take part in a Model United Nations Conference. Seven schools took part, representing more than twenty countries.

Although this was only QM’s second MUN event, the girls made a fantastic contribution to the conference representing Tunisia, Germany and Egypt. Particular congratulations to Jodie Miller and Kirsty Lukas who won the “Commended Delegate” awards for their committees. The girls are looking forward to a further competition in London in March where they can continue to develop their debating skills and international awareness. Many thanks to Miss Kelly for organising the trip.
