From Monday 21st to Saturday 26th March Queen Margaret's will be celebrating all things musical during their annual Music Festival Week. Starting with a Musical Showcase on Monday evening in the School's Chapel, the week will see a range of concerts and competitions that will showcase the wonderful range of musical talent of the students, and staff at QM. From choral events such as Wednesday's 'Live at QM' concert, and Thursday's joint concert with Queen Margaret's School Duncan from British Columbia, to instrumental concerts, such as Tuesday's Schumann Piano Quintet performed by the Field String Quartet and Queen Margaret's Director of Music, Mr Jeremy Bowyer, the week has something for everyone. Monday's Musical Showcase and Tuesday's Piano Quintet, both at 7.30pm, are open concerts and parents and members of the public are most welcome.
