Joyce Chan reports:
On Wednesday 12th October, 2011, there was a challenging match, which took place in Stokesley School. Six of the badminton team members played against Stokesley School. They were asked to play single with boys and a mixed double, which meant that two QM girls played against a boy and a girl. Although it was not an easy game, every one still tried their best.
In the singles matches, the totally result is 3 : 2.5 to them. We tried to do better on the mixed double. It was the first baminton match this term for Catherine but she still did a really good job and played with Vanessa. They got a really high score when they played against the first mixed couples. The result was 20:21 in this individual match to Stokesley School, it was really close.
During the whole matches, the atmosphere was extremely intense. Although the overall score was 7.5 : 7 to Stokesley School, we still enjoyed the matches and gained a lot of experience. So now we are going to work on our mistakes and try to improve further.
Well done everyone.
