On Thursday 10th November 2011 QM played Harrogate Ladies College. Tak Chan (Upper Sixth) reports:
Instead of the norm where 3 pairs play, Harrogate Ladies sent out their best 2 pairs of players to once again challenge the QM badminton team.
With Joyce and Tak playing as a pair, and Vanessa pairing with Ann and Alvina, after a few smashes and sneaky drop shots, HL and QM finally drew 2-2.
Well done to Alvina who played her first ever game for QM badminton team.
It was a close match and certainly a good match to get QM girls warmed up for the Yorkshire County Badminton next Wednesday!
