On Sunday 9th of October me and Grizel Hocknell attended the U14 England Rounders Trials, in Northamptonshire. We had an early start leaving school at 7:45 ready for the long journey ahead of us. We started the trials with a warm up and skills practise, we then went on to play some matches. There were about 120 people competiting for our age group over the weekend. We learnt many skills and techniques that we can use next summer term. It was a great day. We will find out in about a months time if we have been successful. Many thanks goes to Miss Whittle for kindly offering to drive us and support us throughout the day.
