On Saturday 12th November, Hymers College came to QMS and played the U12 Hockey A team. QM didn’t feel very confident at the start as Hymers has a good reputation for Hockey. We had never played on grass before and we had never played 11-a-side Hockey before. We had an excellent goal keeper who let no goals in at all. Our defence kept its diamond shape well and defended effectively. Our attackers were very good at getting the ball into the D but unfortunately we did not score any goals. Hymers came on very strong and tested our determination and mental toughness. After a long, hard battle the final score was 0 – 0.
