ROUNDERS

v Queen Mary’s
U12   Lost 10 – 8
U13B Lost 9 – 8

A set of very close games with the both teams being narrowly defeated after playing an excellent game. We need to work on consistency in both innings and this will allow us to turn narrow defeats into victories.

v Bramcote
U13  Lost  24 – 19

v St Peter’s
U4 A  Lost      33 – 28
U14B Won 21 – 11

Excellent matches against good opposition and it was excellent to see everyone enjoying a good game in the sunshine.

Terrington U13 Tournament
v Bramcote won 14 – 9
v St Martin’s won 14 – 5
v Pocklington won 20 – 17
v Cundall B drew  4 – 4

Qualified for the semi final as group winners where we played Mowden Hall and were defeated 12 – 4. Throughout the tournament we fielded athletically and were scoring freely, but Mowden were outstanding. Overall an excellent afternoon's Rounders and we all had fun and improved.

TENNIS

Aegon Cup
U13 v Pocklington  drew 3 – 3 but won on games 28 -25
U15 v St Peter’s  won  4 – 2
Both these matches were hard fought and we dug deep to win.

v St Peter’s
1st team lost  5 – 4
2nd team lost  5 – 4
U14  won 7 – 2

Another group of excellent matches played in the scorching sunshine. We were unlucky to lose both Senior matches with the result going to the final set. The U14’s played exceptionally and ran out easy winners. Well done.
