On Tuesday 23rd February QM girls had the chance to learn from experts what it means to be an entrepreneur when they met Channel 4 'Secret Millionaire' Jonathan Hick and BBC celebrity chef Gita Mistry.
Mr Hick is a prominent Yorkshire entrepreneur and, as an innovator, he ‘has been spotting business opportunities since the age of 13’. He talked about taking part in Channel 4's Secret Millionaire show, his current businesses and how he helps to start and build other businesses. His guest, Gita Mistry (pictured), is an award winning chef and was crowned Britain’s Best Home Cook in the Grand Final of BBC 2’s Eating with the Enemy. She was also awarded the ‘Outstanding Female Entrepreneur’ award in 2008.
The girls in the audience appreciated the chance to hear the guests' stories and to ask questions:
