Our four-strong team of Rosie Gillett, Jenny Hobbiss, Rachel Gladstone and Kirsty Lukas beat the all-boys team from Hymers College in Hull by a convincing 620 points to 510.

The competition follows a similar format to the popular University Challenge and to get to the Regional Final we faced competition from Ampleforth College and Yarm School. We are the only school to have won the regional competition twice, and it is only our third year of entry!

The next stage will be an Inter-regional Final, probably against the winners from the East Midlands. The winner of this will go to the National Finals in London at the end of April. Congratulations to the girls involved!
